Overlooking the Gulf of Orosei, Grotta del Fico is one of Sardinia's most striking sea caves and a historic refuge of the monk seal. The guided tour lasts about an hour and runs almost entirely on walkways: guides explain the cave's geology, the story of the first speleological explorations and the culture of Baunei's shepherds. Open from May to October, with groups by reservation in the other months.
